Data Architect Senior at UCare Minnesota in Remote
Position Description This position is responsible to modernize UCare's data management and analytical capabilities. Responsible for the architecture and design framework components to aid the integration, enrichment, quality, security, metadata, and data availability throughout the enterprise. Also responsible to introduce modern data architecture capabilities where appropriate and to set policies and standards. Architect data integrations solutions both batch and real-time to support functional and non-functional requirements of data projects. Architect and design framework components for standardization and productivity improvement. Architect and design solutions to advance data quality, metadata, data security, and data integration. Architect solutions to align with the future state with minimal rework or impact to downstream systems and users. Identify, evaluate and introduce new technology components to support the advancement of new business capabilities. Communicate vision and architecture across the enterprise. Establish and maintain policies and data standards. Support teams to implement architected solutions. Other projects and duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Experience Ten years of direct experience as a data solutions architect and/or technical lead with a strong data-centric background. Experience with designing and implementating Data Architectur, Data Modeling, Data Integration, Data Quality Management, MetaData Management, and Data Security. Preferred Experience Experience working in healthcare, familiarity with standards, and processing relational and semi-structured data. Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, HL7 standards including FHIR. Experience with interface/integration engines from data acquisition to provisioning. Experience with Azure or any public cloud platform
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
