Own strategic projects, both with guidance of the SVP and independently, from end to end, including identifying the problem to be solved, driving conceptual problem-solving, creating project plans, and engaging resources to against them. Actively participate in strategic problem solving as an engaged member of the Transformation Team on a range of different types of strategic projects. Work with and manage the Associate, Insights & Analytics, as well as external partners, in developing, conducting, and communicating analyses to answer business questions around how we grow and constantly improve our business, both with guidance of the SVP and independently. Independently own end-to-end creation of presentations (e.g., PowerPoint), i.e., from storyline through final edits, including supporting execution of Board-level presentations. Analyze and synthesize a range of insights (financial, market data, consumer research, etc.) and create persuasive communications to present findings and recommendations to broad audiences, including senior level executives. With guidance of SVP, design and run quantitative and qualitative research on consumers and stylists in USA and internationally (e.g., surveys, focus groups). Conduct and communicate international beauty market research, synthesizing various data sources (market research, 3rd party data, internal data, surveys) in furtherance of strategic initiatives. Work cross-functionally to be proactive in supporting business needs and designing and delivering research, including leading problem solving to identify data needs. Liaise with 3rd party providers and provide recommendations to the SVP about potential vendor partners. Collaborate with senior Olaplex leadership, cross-functional partners, Advent International partners, external partners, and other Transformation team members to deliver necessary insights.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of work experience (1-2 years in managerial roles) in strategy roles, including experience with customer insights, customer analytics, market research, data analytics or similar roles. Management consulting experience strongly preferred. MBA or equivalent experience required. Excellent communicator, both oral and written. Excellent analytical skills, with ability to guide complex data analyses and translate them into actionable insights. Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills. Understanding of key consumer brand and customer metrics, including eCommerce and digital marketing metrics. Balanced ego as well as a collaborative and partnership-minded working style; the Transformation team environment is fast-paced, demanding and caring and fun. Prior experience in consumer industry preferred, with passion for beauty a must! Bilingual candidates a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
